My Journey

How curiosity about people, brands, and everyday decisions led me to marketing.

Where It Started

My interest in marketing started with curiosity about people and the everyday decisions we make. Growing up in a Pakistani immigrant family, I saw how much thought went into each purchase. My parents compared prices and quality carefully, yet stayed loyal to certain brands without a second thought. Products like Shan masala were staples in our home and that loyalty was built on familiarity and trust.

Looking back, this was my first exposure to consumer behaviour. It made me more aware of how the same product or message can mean something completely different depending on the person experiencing it.

Finding Marketing

Studying marketing changed the way I see everyday things. A scroll through social media, a walk past a store window, or a trip down the grocery aisle started to feel like a lesson in how brands try to connect with people. What interests me most is consumer behaviour, especially the moments when what a brand intends to say and what people actually hear don't quite line up.

Looking Ahead

While my path is still taking shape, I hope to build a career that allows me to explore the areas of marketing I am most passionate about. I look forward to learning from every opportunity and growing with each new experience.

Still figuring it out!

Marketing is constantly evolving, and so am I. This site is a place for me to document what I’m learning, the ideas that catch attention, and how my perspective on marketing continues to develop.
